Two Students Qualify for World Irish Dancing Championships

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of two of our Irish dancers, Grace O’Dwyer (5th Year) and Lydia Ryan (TY), who both earned qualification for the World Irish Dancing Championships.

Grace O’Dwyer – 5th Year

Grace has qualified to compete at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Chicago next Easter. She delivered an exceptional performance at the Munster Championships over the weekend, securing an impressive 7th place in the highly competitive U17 age group. This is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to her dedication, skill, and hard work.

Lydia Ryan – Transition Year

Lydia also showcased her talent at the CLRG Munster Championships in Ennis, where she successfully qualified for the World Championships in Chicago in April 2026. Her achievement highlights her commitment and growing excellence in Irish dance.

We extend our warmest congratulations to Grace and Lydia on these remarkable milestones. Their success reflects not only their own perseverance but also the vibrant Irish dancing tradition within our school community. We look forward to cheering them on as they prepare for the world stage.
