As Principal, I am delighted to welcome you to our school community. I hope that you enjoy reading about our extraordinary school.

Cashel Community School is a caring, supportive and vibrant co-educational school with the highest standards of teaching and learning. At Cashel Community School, we are deeply committed to catering for the diverse needs of our students. A culture of mutual respect, inclusivity and trust permeates the corridors and classrooms. Our experienced and dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure that each student is valued and expertly supported on their learning journey, both as an individual and as part of the school community. 

We are extremely proud of the broad and growing curriculum we offer, our outstanding academic results and our extensive range of extra-curricular learning opportunities. Students of Cashel Community School can access an exceptional range of subjects for both the junior and senior education cycles. Our school is equipped with excellent facilities, including fully furnished computer rooms, IT supported classrooms, Home Economics rooms, Art studios, Science Laboratories, Music rooms, Technical workshops, equipped sports hall, outdoor sports playing courts, astro turf and grass pitches.

Pastoral Care is an integral part of the holistic education offered in the school and is catered for through a structured Peer Support System, Tutors, the Chaplaincy, Guidance Counselling and Learning Support Education, together with well-established discipline structures, thereby ensuring all students having the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in a safe and caring environment.

It is thirty years since Cashel Community School opened its doors for the first time, in 1994, with the amalgamation of the three second level schools in Cashel. We continue to value the rich traditions upon which the school was founded while embracing change, nurturing respect, and local partnerships, and delivering high standards of teaching and learning for our current and future students. The exceptional achievements of our students in both the Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate ensures that Cashel Community School has established an outstanding academic record which has facilitated our students progress to virtually every faculty in a variety of third level colleges.
