Students Council host Take Me Out

Take Me Out

The Community School sports hall was packed to capacity on Friday night last for a home-grown version of the t.v. show Take Me Out. It was the brainchild of the students council as their very effective way to raise funds for the National Rehabilitation Centre, Dun Laoghaire.

The council members, spearheaded by their chairperson Jake Ryan, devoted much time, thought and energy to the preparations, ensuring the success of the event. A most worthy cause, and good fun on the night. Compliments too to Ms. Meagher for her behind-the-scenes guidance. The proceeds came to €1,900.

The intrepid participants  were : ladies- Laura Lonergan, Niamh Maher, Radka Janacikova, Roisin Trehy, Lainey Cully, Claire English, Maeve Walsh, Nell Trehy, Niamh Dunne, Ann Marie Cawley, Aoife Griffin,  Roisin Crowe, Aoife Delahunty, Amy Crosse, Sarah Ryan, Michelle Maher, Lorna Quigley, Ciannait Walsh, Shauna Gayson, Zoey Clegg; gentlemen – Daniel Bowes, Colm O’Dwyer, Colin Dikkenberg, Dylan Fitzell, Kevin O’Donnell, James Ryan, Craig Condon, Conor Butler. The whole show was superbly compered by Sinead Magner and Thomas Mulcahy. Well done all round.
