Every Bottle Counts: CCS Raises €1,000 for Children’s Hospitals

Yesterday, we welcomed Catherine Gleeson to CCS, representing parents who have attended Crumlin and Temple Street Hospital with their children. Our students have been actively collecting bottles and cans in CCS as part of the Return Scheme to make a real difference for sick children. To date, they have raised an incredible €1,000.

Catherine explained the positive impact the Return Scheme can have, contributing to life-saving equipment and providing play therapy – especially at Christmas, when many children are unable to celebrate at home.

We will begin a new bottle campaign in 2026. Thank you to everyone in CCS who has supported this initiative. Every bottle counts, so keep up the great work.

Special thanks to the Fifth Year students who started the campaign as part of Transition Year, and to members of class 3B who represented Third Year today and have coordinated the scheme this year.
