Three-in-a-row success for CCS as Liam McGrath wins the regional final of the Irish Junior Maths Competition

Congratulations to Liam McGrath on winning the regional final of the Irish Junior Maths Competition held in Clonmel on Friday evening May 9th. This event is a national competition organised annually by the Irish Maths Teachers Association and is open to all first year students. Ten students from Cashel Community School qualified for this final, with first, second and third prizes all coming to CCS. Liam McGrath won the event, James O'Sullivan was second and Millie Keane came third. This is a great achievement for these students, and for all ten students in reaching the final – well done to everyone and in particular, to Liam McGrath on his outstanding achievement. This is a fantastic three-in-a-row for Cashel Community School, following on from Aine Bourke's victory in the same event last year and John Purdue's victory the previous year.
