Ladies Gaelic Football

Ladies Football

Ladies Football started in Cashel Community School in 2012 and since then huge strides have been made. The numbers participating in the sport are outstanding which is fantastic to see. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Fridays after school.

The school competes in Munster competition at both Junior and Senior level. The is no First Year competition but the school competes in first year blitzes throughout the year and also plays schools in challenge matches.

In 2015 the Junior Ladies Football team won the schools only Munster Ladies Football competition to date. Since then, the school has moved up a grade and competes very well, having progressed through the group every year so far before being beaten at the Quarter Final or Semi Final stage.

With hard work from both the students and the coaches, the aim is to win another Munster title in the near future.
