The annual CCS v Rockwell College senior soccer match for the Dick Wood Cup was played before the holidays. Staged at Cashel Town club’s magnificent facilities, the Community School started brightly and broke the deadlock early on through a terrific half-volley from the edge of the box by James Harding. In the second half, Cashel completed dominated play and secured a deserved third goal courtesy of Conor Conneally, to win 3 nil.
