60×30 Handball Munster Schools Championship 2011
Two students from Cashel Community School, Lorcan Bergin and Joey Doherty represented South Tipperary in the All Ireland Ploughing Championships in Athy. Both students performed exceptionally well with Lorcan winning the Under-21 Conventional Class Junior Grade Final on Tuesday 20th September. C.C.S senior girls camogie team had a comprehensive win over the Ursuline Secondary School Thurles in the Munster league. There is lots of new talent emerging this year ranging from 1st to 6th year. This was a great start to the year. The next league match takes place on Friday against Laurel Hill FCJ Limerick.

Best of luck to Dylan Fitzell and Gearoid Slattery, two Fifth Year students who head to Croke Park on the coming Sunday in search of All-Ireland Minor football honours. They have performed heroically already this year defeating the giants of football Kerry and Cork along the way and it is hoped they will cap it off on Sunday with the ultimate trophy.Read More
Our warmest congratulations this evening go to our two students Dylan Fitzell and Gearoid Slattery who today won the All Ireland Minor Football Final wearing the blue and gold of Tipperary. It was Tipperary's first success at this level in 77 years and in an outstanding team performance today, ran our victors over a much fancied Dublin team on a scoreline of 3-9 to 1-14.Read More
Junior Cert Results 2011
At half nine Wednesday morning the nervous wait was over for the Junior Cert class of 2011. A steady flow of smiling faces emerged from room one clutching the long awaiting results. The class of 2011 kept up the tradition of fantastic results in CCS with a wide scattering of A and B grades.

All Ireland Primary School Game
Aoife Crosse a new first year student had the honour of representing Tipperary and her primary school (Thomastown NS) at half time of the All Ireland Hurling Final this year. Aoife who plays for the New Inn Camogie Club lined out in the full back position.
Well done to Aoife and we wish her every success in the CCS jersey.
Night Classes at CCS
The Autumn 2011 Adult Education night classes will commence at Cashel Community School on Monday 26th September. A wide range of classes are on offer, ranging from glass painting, languages, fitness classes, information technology and business planning, to gardening and music classes. Enrolment will take place on next Monday, 19th September, 2.00 – 4.00pm and 7.00 – 9.00pm. Alternatively, enrolment forms may be posted back to the school accompanied by the appropriate fee.Read More
